Urology

Located in

Board-certified urologist Thomas Coleman, MD, is a well-respected physician at Urology Associates. He treats a wide range of urological conditions in adults of all ages at the Providence Hospital location in Mobile, Alabama. He is passionate about creating a respectful environment for his patients and creating the most customized, successful treatment plans.

Dr. Coleman completed his undergraduate studies at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa before receiving his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He completed his internship in surgery at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, where he was also an assistant resident in surgery.

Dr. Coleman was the chief resident in urology at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, before going into private practice. Prior to joining Urology Associates, he was a physician at Bay Urology Services, Mobile Urology Group, and at Providence Hospital, all located in Mobile, Alabama.

As well as being certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Coleman is also affiliated with a number of organizations, including the American Medical Association, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the Southeast Section of the American Urological Association, Alabama Urological Society, Medical Society of Mobile County, American Medical Student Association, and Mobile Young Physicians Society.

In addition to Providence Hospital, Dr. Coleman is affiliated with Infirmary Health’s Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, Alabama. He looks forward to offering compassionate care to new and existing patients at Urology Associates.
