Dr. Jorns is a board-certified urologist who specializes in endourology as well as laparoscopic kidney surgery. He completed undergraduate studies at Louisiana Tech University. He then went on to earn his medical degree from LSU medical school in Shreveport. He completed internship and urology residency at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, serving as chief resident 2013-2014. Dr. Jorns is a member of the American Urological Association and Southeast Section of the American Urological Association.
He met his wife, Lainie, in medical school. They spend most of their time outside of medicine with their daughters, Emma and Reagan, with activities that include softball, gymnastics, or attending concerts. His hobbies include golf, coaching youth sports, and spending Saturdays in the fall with his family at LSU football games.
