Allison was born and raised in Ocean Springs, MS and attended Mississippi State University for undergrad, where she got my Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry. She went on to go to the University of Alabama at Birmingham to receive her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. She practiced her first year as a PA in a hospitalist PA role, where she learned an abundance of acute patient care specifically in the geriatric population. She loves serving her patients with compassion and by ensuring there is a shared medical decision making process. In her time outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and two Springer Spaniels. She enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, hiking, and being on the boat when possible. She looks forward to serving the area that served her well throughout the formative years of my life.
Physician assistants (PA) are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. PA’s conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventative health care, and perform minor surgical procedures. PA’s work with people of all ages and their families, providing information people need to make informed decisions about their healthcare and lifestyle choices.
