Dr. Frischhertz serves as the Director of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) for Urology Associates.
Jason Frischhertz, MD, is a highly-skilled, board-certified physician who joined the team at Urology Associates in 2019. He specializes in adult urology at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, Alabama, and the Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, Alabama.
Dr. Frischhertz began his undergraduate studies at the University of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama, and graduated from Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi. He completed post-baccalaureate education in biological sciences at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before going on to earn his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Frischhertz completed his internship in the surgery department at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He stayed at the University of Mississippi Medical Center for his urology residency in surgery, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Frischhertz is board-certified with the American Board of Urology and serves as the resident ambassador to the board of directors for the Southeastern Section of the American Urology Association. He’s also affiliated with a number of hospitals, including Mobile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile, Alabama.
