Lab Supervisor Mobile Infirmary

Summary of Job: 

  • Supervise all locations, manage all lab staff, and ensure all processes are completed efficiently and up to compliance standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. At the direction of the Lab Manager, ensure all lab positions are filled each day and coverage is quickly obtained if staff are absent.
  2. In conjunction with the Lab Manager, implement and train all lab protocols ensuring lab staff provide written understanding of each protocol.
  3. Monitor all lab workflow to ensure staff are completing all tasks based on protocol. Provide verbal feedback to staff that veer off protocol. If staff continue to disregard protocols, report these issues to the Lab Manager for coaching and or potential disciplinary action.
  4. Process all Testosterone, PSAs, Estradiol samples, and in house labs daily.
  5. Monitor all ordered injections and labs to ensure these are completed correctly and efficiently.
  6. Maintain all QA logs, injections logs, and refrigerator logs.
  7. Manage the ordering and inventory of lab supplies, ensuring all locations are adequately stocked.
  8. Work with Dr. Webster and Lab Manager to maintain compliance.
  9. Provide support to Dr. Webster as directed by the Lab Manager.
  10. Work with billing office to correct any billing issues on ordered labs.
  11. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by management.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  1. Required license: Certified medical assistant and certified phlebotomist
  2. Five + years of relevant experience required

AR Follow Up Representative Business Office (Mobile and MSO)

Summary of Job: 

  • Work with your assigned payers to ensure accurate payment for all denied and partially denied insurance claims.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Work insurance A/R worklist within the EHR. Review all unpaid or denied claims. Work with the patient, the office staff, and the insurance company to correct claims related issues in order to obtain payment. Document all work within the PM system.
  2. Ensure foundation grants received needed documentation to process payments.
  3. Ensure bulk eligibility.
  4. Answer the phone in a timely manner and document all pertinent patient encounters.
  5. Obtain referrals for patients seeing physicians in the practice.
  6. Review accounts with credits. Review posting to make sure accurate and start the refund with patients and/or insurance.
  7. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by management.

Referral Coordinator Business Office (Mobile)

Summary of Job: 

  • This position is responsible for coordinating and managing all referrals, ensuring that patients are efficiently referred to specialists or other healthcare professionals for their upcoming appointments. The Referral Coordinator will work closely with medical staff, patients, and insurance providers to ensure a smooth and timely process.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Receive and process incoming referrals from primary care providers and other sources,
  2. Verify and confirm the completeness and accuracy of referral information.
  3. Maintain accurate and organized records of all referral-related communications and activities.
  4. Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and other relevant privacy regulations.
  5. Coordinate with insurance providers to verify eligibility and coverage for referred services.
  6. Monitor the status of referrals and follow up as needed.
  7. Address any issues or delays in the referral process and work to resolve them.
  8. Generate reports on referral status, utilization, and any other relevant metrics as needed by the management.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  1. Five + years of relevant experience required
  2. High school diploma or equivalent
  3. Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare processes.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

Summary of Job: 

  • Field all incoming phone calls, document calls when appropriate, schedule appointments and task additional staff as needed.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Field all patient phone calls. For questions that can be answered, ensure detailed documentation is present in the patient record. For urgent calls, route to the appropriate staff. For all other calls, task to the proper personnel.
  2. Ensure all fielded calls that are tasked out are completed within 24 hours.
  3. Schedule all appointment requests via phone. For new patients, ensure a full registration is completed.
  4. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the UAMPA management team.

  1. GED required

  • Field and document all incoming clinical related phone calls completing those you can and messaging the appropriate staff member for all other.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Triage all patient and provider phone calls related to clinical issues. Answer questions based on UAMPA protocol and ensure thorough documentation. For those questions that require Provider Nurse input, message the message to the Provider Nurse and track his/her progress to ensure the task is worked within 24 hours.
  2. Complete all over-the-phone medication refills based on UAMPAs protocols.
  3. Schedule patient appointments as needed.
  4. Maintain a professional and polite phone demeanor at all times.
  5. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the UAMPA management team.
