Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
To simplify your experience when receiving care and to make the payment process transparent and convenient, we are introducing the Health iPASS Check-In and Patient Payment System.
Upon arriving at your appointment, you can simply check in with our kiosk. The front desk can provide you with your confirmation code or you can swipe your HSA/FSA/credit or debit card.
This payment program will securely store your credit/debit/HSA payment information “on-file.” Once your insurance company processes the claim, you will receive an email notifying you of any remaining patient balance from today’s visit. We will automatically deduct that balance from the card-on-file five business days later.
Absolutely! Your credit card information is safe and protected. All financial information is fully encrypted maintaining industry standard compliance.
We will keep your payment information until the amount for today’s visit has been paid in full, to include your financial responsibility after insurance.
In addition to paying for today’s visit, you give permission to Health iPASS to charge your card-on-file in the future for any charges due for this visit beyond your co-pay, prior balance, and deposit. You will not be charged more than what is deemed your financial responsibility by your insurance plan.
You will receive an email notification indicating the amount owed after your insurance company has paid the claim. Your card will be charged five business days after receiving the e-Statement. A final transaction receipt will then be emailed to you for your records.
You can make alternative arrangements such as changing the payment type or setting up a payment plan by calling our Billing Office number at (251) 433-1895.
